What Was My Inspiration?

I was inspired to create these books because of a funny real life situation from a new business partner our family began to work with, who was also an assistant for someone employed by civil rights activist (and Martin Luther King Jr.’s right hand man) Robert J. Brown. I was creating this project originally with the intent of making it an autobiography aimed at adults. The problem? Autobiographies were way too complex according to our new colleague. He suggested I transform the idea into a children’s book series about a superhero who deals with much of the issues I dealt with when I was a kid. So, that’s exactly what I did.

My hope is that these books not only put a smile on the faces of kids and their parents, but they also learn lifelong lessons of what it means to be a good person and citizen of your community.
